'Looking into Storage', an illustration by JVL for House Beautiful carried out in the mid 1960s.
This was a typical 'bread and butter' job I did as an early freelance illustrator. It was a time when I took on every commission going, which meant I had to be prepared to draw anything. Nowadays it just goes to show how office equipment has changed over the years. This desk/storage unit and equipment was the state of the art in its time!
